Volunteer Work
At sign on day each family committed to a minimum of two sessions work in the canteen and to attend a working Bee. Please fulfil this commitment as it is essential
for the smooth running of the Club.
We will also again be needing managers for each team. Please see a Committee member if you wish to volunteer for this role. It is an enjoyable and not difficult job and we
can give you all the help you will need.
Training and Games during 2008
Training and Fixtures are not a baby sitting service. It is understood that on occasions parents must leave the ground to attend to other issues but we ask that you
please be at the ground for the start of training ( in case it is cancelled by the Coach) and 10mins prior to the completion of each session. The girls will not be allowed to leave the field/Canteen area to be picked up
at the car park as this area is poorly lit and as such not safe.
Please advise your child to wait by the canteen area to be collected by you.
Mouthguards, Sticks, Shin pads and Water bottles.
Please ensure your child has the equipment needed to train and play on game days.
Please note no child will be allowed to play/train without a mouthguard. This is a Club and BWHA policy.
All girls need water for training and game days. Two water bottles may be necessary for the older girls.
Development News
In the package you have received tonight there is information on upcoming development programs, selection trails, positional play and rules. Please take a moment to
look through these and see one of the Development Officers or Samantha Gray for more information.
2008 Teams
We have at least one full team in each division this year. Some changes may occur in the first few weeks as we finalise the teams however I will speak to the parent
involved should a change need to be made. We are still looking for girls in the U7, U9 and J divisions to facilitate subs so please see Samantha Gray if you know of anyone who may be interested and she will give you all
the info you need. We have Coaches for all divisions.
